Sean’s 15 Minute Orzo Stew

2 celery stalks chopped

1 8oz can tomato sauce

1 15.5oz can of kidney beans

1 cup orzo pasta

a couple few links Elgin hot sausage chopped

2 shredded carrots

Dash or two of garlic salt

Same goes for the pepper

You know what?  Add some mushrooms and and some chili powder while you’re at it.  Live a little!

Cook the Orzo for 5 to 8 minutes, or until al dente; drain and rinse well. While pasta is cooking, put the carrots, celery and sausage in your stew pot; cover with water. Pour in the tomato sauce and beans. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until celery is tender then add the pasta. Season to taste. No rush.

Has it been 15 minutes?
